Back on the subject of the con, on Friday I had the fortune to run into these two including the only HRE cosplayer in the entire con. I believe I saw this HRE last year but they didn’t have a Chibitalia companion or the painting from what I remember.
Seeing how I was carrying around a two-foot-tall plush in HRE’s likeness this was something I absolutely couldn’t resist asking them to do for me. c:
Colossalcon was awesome and holy crap, after a couple people ran through the convention center we probably got at least 80-100 people at our shoot. Which makes me disappointed nobody has posted pictures here yet.
This is me an’ the rest of the Italies that wanted to get their pictures taken. I AM wearing a curl but it’s hard to see because it’s so thin and the tree behind me is obscuring it. I’m so glad so many of the other Italy cosplayers liked how I did my curl (I used my real hair and used a piece of wire to make an around-the-ear curl clip).
Most of the people that stopped me for photos thought I was Chibitalia so I had to correct them, though I guess if I removed the sash I could pass off as Chibitalia and I’d be able to get away with it~
Also HRE got a lot of hugs and love at this con. People were actually pretty impressed that I made him myself. <3

Dawn look, it’s you.
Just finished putting together everything I’m gonna need. Bringing along plenty of snacks for me this time around. All I need now is a bag to stick my flip-flops in so I don’t lose my shoes again this year.
Even boxed up my costume nice and neat for transport. My body is ready.
